Fall 2025 Shows!

Our shows for the Fall 2025 session are Disney's High School Musical (Ages 12-18) and Disney's Winnie The Pooh Kids (Ages 8-13).
Show Preference: Show preference is considered when casting, but all auditioners agree to be cast in either show. 
For Fall 2025 shows please note the following casting for each age range:
Ages 12-18: Disney's High School Musical
Ages 12 and 13 will be cast in either show based on experience and the need of the show.
Ages 8-13: Disney's Winnie the Pooh Kids
*Please submit your students audition form for the show that matches the age requirement. Submissions where student's age does not meet the requirement will not be accepted.

Background Check

At Christian Youth Theater Portland we take child safety very seriously and ask that everyone serving with children or youth in any capacity complete a background check and take an online course which specifically covers sexual abuse awareness and prevention. 
CYT Inc has partnered with Protect My Ministry to process background checks and provide an online child safety course. If you are NEW to CYT Portland please submit the background check consent form. if any of your personal information has changed since your last CYT background check please email jlippert@cytportland.org.

CYT Portland Calendar

The Decathlon Award recognizes exceptional CYT students who have demonstrated a love for theater by pursuing a well-rounded education in the theater arts and who have exhibited a character consistent with CYT values. The award includes a certificate of recognition, as well as a personal letter of recommendation from the CYT National Board of Directors.
