EXPO Information

CYT Portland is a Branch of a national organization, Christian Youth Theater.  This summer CYT National is re-launching EXPO! The national organization hosts, EXPO, an annual summer gathering of CYT Branches from across the country. Nearly 500 CYT students, staff and parents from all over the US gather to celebrate what it means to be part of CYT. We play, learn, perform and have a blast!

When: July 21-24, 2024
Who: Any CYT student, age 12 and up. CYT family chaperones & CYT staff.
Where: Hilton Anatole; 2201 N Stemmons Fwy, Dallas, TX 75207

The EXPO is an annual gathering for CYT students and leadership held. CYT Students (ages 12-18), CYT Leadership, and Spectators (for specific events only) are all invited to attend! The goal of EXPO is to equip, play, and connect with Branches from across the country! Here you will find all the information you need for this year’s EXPO experience. Read it carefully as you prepare for your trip to Dallas! Please note, we will continue to add  information on speakers, workshops, schedule, etc.

EXPO 2024 User Campaign Instructions

Students and parents who have already registered for CYT EXPO 2024 who wish to participate in the EXPO 2024 fundraising campaign please refer to the instructions listed! 

Step 1: LOG IN TO YOUR CYT PORTLAND FAMILY ACCOUNT
  • The photo that appears on your campaign page is the one you have saved on your personal account.  Be sure to update this photo (or put one in if you haven’t already) before proceeding to step 2.
Step 2: CREATE YOUR PERSONAL CAMPAIGN PAGE(S) 
  • Go to your account dashboard, click on Tools (to the right of the user), and choose “User Campaigns”. Then click “Set Up”
  • Set participation to “Active”
  • Set a “personal goal” (suggested goal is 30 donors at $100 each total: $3000 Goal)
  • Create a personal message for people to see on your page (tell them why CYT means so much to you and why you want to attend CYT EXPO 2024)
  • Click “Save” 
  • All Campaigns must first be approved within 48 business hours. 
  • If you make changes to your campaign page please notify jlippert@cytportland.org
Step 3: SHARE YOUR PAGE
  • Once your page is approved, post your page link on Social Media and email friends and family to get as many supporters as you can!
