Join Teacher Chanda Hall this fall in our Musical Theatre II class where you will explore the process-oriented nature of the showcase production "Dare to Dream Jr.".  Students will take a deep dive into scene study work with selections of dramatic pieces and songs from various musical theater repertoires. Through the term students will practice harmonies, understand best practices for cold reads, and work on scene staging. This class will augment our scene studies with theatre games designed to hone acting skills as an ensemble.Teens who love musical theatre and want to challenge themselves with scene work each week are bond to thrive in a class that will culminate in a showcase performance that will bring their skills together when they perform to the number "I've Got a Dream" from Disney's Tangled. Participants will come away with a greater understanding of musical theater staging and vocal performance work with a notebook of scenes and libretti on which will be useful for their future.
