Amy grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and studied ballet, tap, and jazz at the Beaverton Dance Center as well as The Portland Ballet. She performed in all the spring musicals during her time at Sunset High School with her most favorite roles being Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man and Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street. During her sophomore year she danced in The Portland Opera's production of La Belle Helene. Following high school she attended Abilene Christian University in Texas and continued to dance with a small company there. Currently, Amy is living in Hillsboro with her husband Seth, her 4 kids Jillian, Annika, Graham, and Beau, a black lab, Trapper, and 17 chickens. She works very part time as a Registered Nurse and is a mostly stay at home mom! She is super excited to rekindle her love of dance and musical theatre as well as to bring that joy to her students lives. She is so excited to be part of an organization like CYT!
