Description

Step into the enchanted world of Beauty and Beast in this intermediate-level musical theater class! Students will build on their acting and singing skills while learning scenes and musical numbers inspired by the beloved Broadway show. Through character work, ensemble performance and expressive story telling, performers will grow in confidence abd stage presence- all while bringing this timeless tale to life.
Prerequisite: Students must have completed at least 4 previous CYT classes and/or participated in 2 CYT shows

Meredith Lippert

Meredith has participated in 15 CYT shows as a student and is now teaching. She loves the arts, storytelling, and the art of storytelling. Writing is her favorite form of telling stories, with music and theater as a very close second, and she's on a mission to point to Jesus through both. His is the greatest story of them all!

I have been involved with theatre since I was eleven years old and have since developed a love for singing dancing, and acting, but especially for singing. I have been involved in music since I was 6 years old through Choirs, instruments, and musical theatre. I love spreading the light of Christ through performing arts and especially helping encourage and help others to do the same!
