Ballet is the foundation to all other forms of theatrical dance. This Spring Sara Stanton will offer a Foundational Ballet class for all students 10-18 to strengthen their overall dance ability. This 45 minute class meets prior to regular class and will include Barre work for technique, as well as center floor work, and strength training. If you are serious about putting in extra work to improve your dance abilities this class is for you.
Shoe Requirement- Jazz shoes or ballet slippers
*This class does not fulfill the participation requirement for production.*

Sara is a mom of four, three of whom are in CYT. She trained in various styles of dance in her youth and throughout college, and was blessed to teach jazz, ballet, and tap at her church's dance studio in Sacramento. She was also part of the dance ministry and loves to worship God through dance. She is delighted to teach kids in CYT dance fundamentals.
