Get ready to dance! Jazz dance is an upbeat and expressive dance style. It incorporates kicks, leaps and turns, with other steps, into bold choreography. In this class, students will warm up and rock out to fun music. They will be introduced to dance terminology and practice jazz technique as they move across the floor and learn fun choreography. Not only will students grow in skill, strength and stamina, they will grow more confident performing, and have a lot of fun. * Please note that the 1st class is on Tuesday Sept. 3rd. All subsequent classes will be on Mondays.

Sara is a mom of four, three of whom are in CYT. She trained in various styles of dance in her youth and throughout college, and was blessed to teach jazz, ballet, and tap at her church's dance studio in Sacramento. She was also part of the dance ministry and loves to worship God through dance. She is delighted to teach kids in CYT dance fundamentals.
