Description

Build vocal skills, make friends, and perform to the mashup song, "How Far I'll Go/ Part of Your World". Join Teacher Ellie Barbuto this fall as she trains students in the basic elements of stage vocals. Utilizing music from both Moana and The Little Mermaid students will learn not only how to project while singing solo parts, but also how to perfectly blend in the ensemble. By the end of the term the beginning vocal class will perform their piece in the all CYT showcase entitled, "Dare to Dream Jr."

Showcase for Fall will be on 10/26. Students arrive at 5pm and doors open to audience at 6:50

Hello! I am a new teacher for CYT and I am excited to jump into Vocals Class with you! I am a graduate from the Theater department at George Fox University and I have worked professionally on and off stage in the Portland area. I look forward to teaching vocal fundamentals and coming alongside you on your musical theater journey!
